Los Mochis-El Fuerte-Bahuchivo-Creel-Posada Barrancas-El Fuerte- Los Mochis

We provide; ground transportation, hotel accommodations, selected activities, first class railway tickets, meals, purified water, and bilingual guides, where available.
Day 1 From the Los Mochis airport, a shuttle will take you to the historic “Pueblo Magico” town of El Fuerte. Stay the night at a hotel overlooking the Rio Fuerte.
Day 2 Catch the morning train 7:30am to Bahuchivo Station. A taxi will take you to the San Isidro Lodge. This eco-lodge is set in nature above the historic town of Cerrocahui. A walking or driving tour is included to see the town and 300 yr. old Jesuit Mission.
Day 3 Second day and night at San Isidro lodge. Your day tour includes a drive to the Urique rim, or Gallego Mountain.
Day 4 Prepare to catch a late morning train to Creel. You will stop for 15 minutes at Divisadero for local shopping and amazing views. Stay the night at Quinta Lodge, or similar.
Day 5 Second day and night in Creel. An included four hour day tour will take you to Lake Arareko, San Ignacio Mission, and the Valley of Mushrooms, Monks, and Frogs. Stay at Quinta lodge, or similar.
Day 6 catch the late morning train to Posada Barrancas, or the “eye” of the canyons. The hotel sits upon the cliffs, again, you will stop off at Divisadero for 15 minutes before arriving at the Hotel Mansion Tarahumara for the night. A walking tour to nearby cliff dwellings is included.
Day 7 Enjoy your morning at the canyon rim. The train departs to El Fuerte around 1-3 pm (train time). Arrive at El Fuerte around 7:30 pm. A taxi will take you to your hotel for the night.
Day 8 second day and night in El Fuerte. Your tour includes a river float adventure on the Rio Fuerte, where you will see a variety of bird and animal life. Hike to the Nahautl petroglyphs and see the city of El Fuerte.
Day 9 transportation provided to the Los Mochis airport around noon.

Our services include; ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals *breakfast only in Chihuahua, purified water, selected activities, first class railway tickets, and bilingual guides, where available.
Day 1 Arrive in Chihuahua. A taxi will pick you up from Chihuahua airport and take you the Holiday Inn.
Breakfasts only included at Holiday Inn.
Day 2 Arrive at the train station between 5-5:30 am for your departure to Creel. Your driver will transport you to the Quinta Lodge or similar. Your adventure includes a local tour of Arareko lake, the Misión of San Ignacion, valley of the mushrooms monks and frogs is included, all meals and transfers.
Day 3 The train departs to Posada Barrancas around 11 am, arriving to Posada Barrancas between 1-3 pm. Stay the night at the Hotel Mansion Tarahumara in a rim or valley view room. Your day trip includes a walking tour to nearby cliff dwellings.
Day 4 Second night at the canyon rim at Hotel Mansion Tarahumara. A shuttle tourto Divisadero is included.
A la cart activities range from $15-60 USD and include world-class zip lines, gondola rides across the canyons, hiking, and local shopping.
Day 5 Train transfer to Bahuichivo Station between 1-3pm., stay in San Isidro Lodge set in nature above the historic town of Cerrocahui.
A hiking or driving tour is included to see the small town and 300 year old Jesuit Mission and local vineyards, all meals and all ground transfer
Horseback riding is available a la cart.
Day 6 Second night at San Isidro Lodge. In the morning, drive to the Urique rim at Gallego Mountain.
Day 7 Catch the train back up to Creel, around 11 am, and stay at the Quinta Misión Hotel, or similar.
Day 8 Transfer back to Chihuahua and stay at the Holiday Inn.
Day 9 Includes taxi service to/from the Chihuahua airport and to/from the train station, breakfast included.

Day trip 3. Sea lion colony / Espiritu Santos
10-11 hour day trip from Cabo-La Paz
- 7 am depart Cabo. Yogurt, fruit, coffee, juices, sodas are included on the way to La Paz
- 9 am board the boat from La Paz
- 10:15 am See the sea lions of San Rafaelito
- 11:30-12:30 arrive to the Isla Espiritu Santos via dingy

Note 1: Time schedules are subject to tidal flow, weather, and traffic conditions
Note 2: When sea conditions make crossing to San Gabriel Bay uncomfortable, Island Cat will anchor within the outer arms of Balandra Bay. The outer beaches of Balandra are only accessible by boat. They are likely the most beautiful of all the beaches in the area. All the amenities outlined above will be available.
Note 3: If Balandra is the destination bay, arrival to the beaches and departure from the bay will be one hour earlier.

Day trip 4. Birdwatching/ River float tour/ hike to Nahautl petroglyphs in El Fuerte
From the charming “Pueblo Magico” town of El Fuerte, float through the calm Rio Fuerte via oared boats.
This river hosts a variety of migratory and native bird/ animal life.
Your guide is an avid birdwatcher, sometimes calling birds to land on his head!
They are informative of native flora, fauna, and interpretations of the petroglyphs.
Your adventure will include a walking tour to the Nahautl petroglyphs, which were unearthed during a flood in the 1990’s.
You will see 400 yr. old cacti and some cacti growing out of trees.
